Be Prepared. Be Confident. Be Ready to Save Lives.

“I recently had the pleasure of attending EMT Boot Camp week at Southwest EMS Academy, and I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt that I chose the right place for EMT training. I am a former Army medic (91A) and EMT-B re-entering the field of EMS after a 20-year absence. To say I was nervous about relearning skills that I hadn’t used in decades was an understatement, but James, Riley, Mike, and Jen really put me at ease while making the entire learning experience enjoyable and worthwhile. Not only did we get plenty of time to learn and practice all the EMT-level skills, we were afforded the opportunity to witness and familiarize ourselves with certain ALS skills in the skills lab as well.
If you’re looking for an EMT training program in the Austin area and you’re on the fence about Southwest EMS Academy, my advice is to stop looking and enroll at SWEMSA immediately. You’ll have a great experience and they have deep contacts in the Texas EMS community to get you the clinical rotations you need.”
